After Adopting Street Cat, Truck Driver Names Him Co-Pilot

Truck driver Paul Robertson knew loneliness all too well. His long hours on the road kept him away from family and friends for weeks or even months. But everything changed when he adopted a cat named Howie, who became his loyal companion and co-pilot.

Coping without Howie

When Howie passed away, Paul was heartbroken. The thought of returning to his solitary life was unbearable. However, fate intervened, and Paul met Percy, an orange tabby cat at a shelter.

Percy had a rough past, living on the streets and bearing scars, a missing tooth, and a torn ear. Paul’s heart went out to him, and he knew he had to give Percy a loving home.

Percy the co-pilot

Now, Paul and Percy travel the country together, side by side. Percy is officially Paul’s new co-pilot and closest friend. Paul’s lonely days are behind him, replaced by the joy and companionship of his feline friend.

Percy’s love and loyalty remind us that cats truly are everything – bringing warmth, comfort, and purpose to our lives.
