Cat With Paralyzed Hind Legs Gets Love And Care From A Husky

Bridger McPurr is a tabby kitten with a big heart and a strong spirit. He was found outside a store in Anchorage, Alaska, freezing and paralyzed from the waist down.

He was taken to Anchorage Animal Care and Control, where he won everyone over with his courage and charm.

Journey to Recovery for Poor Bridger

Shannon Basner, the founder of Mojo’s Hope, a rescue group for special needs animals, took him in and gave him the best care possible.

He also went to VCA Alaska Pet Care, where he received laser therapy and lots of love from the vet techs, Emma and Toni.

The vets did not find any spinal damage, but they suspected he had a nutritional deficiency or an infection that caused his paralysis.

Unstoppable

Bridger did not let his condition stop him from enjoying life. Instead, he loved to snuggle with Shannon and purr loudly in her neck.

He also made friends with the other animals in Shannon’s family, especially Cinder, a husky who took him as a pup.

Love and Care from a Husky

Cinder and Bridger had an instant connection. She cuddled him, groomed him, and played with him gently. She treated him like her own baby.

Bridger also had fun with his foster brothers, HarPURR, Kane, and Baggie, who were also cats. They ran through tunnels, chased toys, and pounced on feathers.

A Loving Family is Everything

Bridger was a happy and playful kitten, thanks to his loving family.

He never gave up hope that he would walk again someday. More so, with Cinder by his side, he felt like anything was possible.

Bridger had finally found his dream come true: a family, a friend, and a mom who believed in him!
