Family Cat Disappears For A Few Days But Comes Back With Unique Note

A family’s cat went missing for a few days. They were of course really worried about the cat but it did return and they were relieved. However, when the cat came back, it had a strange note with it. The cat’s note said that it had incurred a debt of three mackerels.

The note explained that the cat had visited another home and had been eyeing their mackerels. So the kindly neighbor gave the cat three mackerels. The shop owner put information on the note about where the shop was located so that the cat’s owner could come and pay for the fish.

Just in case you don’t know the language the note is written in, the card read: “Your cat kept eyeing the mackerels at my stall, so I gave him three.” It certainly wasn’t what the cat’s owner was expecting when the cat returned.

We’re not entirely certain why the kind neighbor felt the need to write down the cat’s tab on the note card, but we sure do think it’s so sweet that our neighbors can sometimes be so kind as to feed our animals when they see them! What an adorable story!
