Heartwarming Moment As Woman Cuddles With Basket Full Of Kittens As Last Wish

Carol Heizman had one simple wish before she passed away – to cuddle a basket of kittens. She was a patient at Groves Community Hospice in Kansas, where the staff strives to make every resident’s wish come true.

They contacted the Great Plains SPCA, a local animal shelter, and asked them to bring some kittens for Carol.

A Basket Will Do More

The SPCA was more than happy to oblige. To prove their willingness to make Carol happy, they brought not just one, but a whole basket of kittens for her to snuggle up to.

Carol was overjoyed when she saw the furry surprise. She couldn’t believe her eyes at first, but then she smiled with pure happiness.

She couldn’t help but acknowledge at once the cuteness of the kittens and mentioned how precious they are.

A Kitten’s Warmth

The hospice workers gently handed Carol a kitten wrapped in a baby blanket, and she held it close to her chest. She repeated this with every kitten, feeling their warmth and softness. One kitten even climbed onto her shoulders and nuzzled her neck.

Carol’s wish was fulfilled, and she felt grateful and happy. She loved cats and other animals, and they always brought her joy and comfort.

Happiness is the Goal

The hospice center runs a “Happiness Is…” project, where they try to grant every resident’s wish. Carol’s wish was a perfect example of this project, showing that there is happiness in a basket of kittens.
