Let’s Meet Olive: The Feline With Odd Eyes

Olive is a uniquely beautiful cat who hails from Derbyshire, England. The eye-catching double-colored eyes on this 4-year-old feline set off a white coat that has mesmerized social media users. If you aren’t also mesmerized when you first see this cat, it’s truly odd. 

It would be impossible for me to get enough cat eyes. Cat eyes are stunningly beautiful, dazzlingly beautiful, dazzling in even the darkest light, and truly remarkable. Some cats can have complete heterochromia, which is an eye that is an entirely different color from another eye. However, we’ve never heard of sectoral heterochromia before. Odd Eyed Olive suffers from this rare condition, and her eyes are simply breathtaking!

Genes that are associated with white fur also control cat eye color, so these beautiful multicolor eyes are the result of some old-fashioned genetics. Fortunately for Olive, her sight and hearing remain as normal as those of any other kitten. Her owner says Olive loves to play in boxes, bird watching, and make cat chatter sounds in her spare time. Olive also loves to attack her growing collection of feather toys.

Olive enjoys interacting with her cat housemate and designated cuddle buddy, Charlie, when she isn’t busy photographing the world around her or doing any of the aforementioned favorite playtimes. Olive’s human claims they have been inseparable for years, and he is her “boyfriend,” she says…Olive must love blue eyes, too!

Her owner claims Olive will only “tolerate” affection and attention from Charlie, but she won’t cuddle with any of her other cat housemates! Fifi, a fluffy blue-eyed beauty with beautiful blue eyes, shares her life with her as well. Her three feline companions are also simply beautiful, so there might be something in the water!
