Seeing a wildlife photographer napping, a cheetah decides to take a join with him
He’s sleeping with a cheetah, isn’t he? Even though it sounds crazy, some animal lovers will risk their lives for their pets, no matter how dangerous that may be. Wildlife photographer Dolph C. Volker from the U.S. is one of them. He was swept away by feelings of deep sorrow when he held his dying dog in his arms.
As a result of losing his dog across the rainbow bridge, he has dedicated his life to bettering animal welfare. He used his vacation days and savings to volunteer at the Cheetah Experience because of this reason. In South Africa, this sanctuary protects and preserves cheetahs and other endangered species. He became fascinated by cheetahs there.
Originally, Volker was a little apprehensive about being so close to the cheetahs, but now they are best friends. Eden, a cheetah, is one of many friends he has made at the sanctuary. His dedication to cheetahs has earned him the nickname “The Cheetah Whisperer.”
Cheetahs are amazing creatures that deserve help, support, and protection, Volker says. “I had no idea they were so precious. I’m in love with them.” Volker loves cheetahs. You can see his videos with cheetah friends on his YouTube channel.
It’s adorable to watch how they enjoy one another’s company. Watching a human and wild animal bonding is not an everyday sight. It is unusual how these two have become best of friends. The truth is everybody needs a little affection, whether human or animal. This Cheetah might have seen the friendliness in photographer nature and felt safer around him. That is why he decided to become his nap buddy.
See how well they bond together and enjoying each other’s company like best buds.
