Two Sweet Kittens Won’t Stop Cuddling The Police Officer Who Rescued Them
Two cute kittens found a loving home after a police officer saved them from a risky hiding place.
The kittens were frightened and looking for shelter, so they hid in a car bumper.
The Rescue
The car’s owner saw them and asked for help from the officers, Adkins and Hillard, who were passing by.
The officers agreed to help, so they bent down to check the car, trying to find the naughty kittens in their hideout. The woman did not know how they got in there.
Officer Adkins was happy to help. He carefully reached in and pulled out the two kittens. They were not hurt or in pain.
A Forever Home for the Kittens
Officer Adkins had won The South District Officer of the Year Award before, and he got a trophy.
Now, he was going to get something cuter.
He took the kittens to the vet before taking them home. They were very young and needed to see the vet.
On the way to the vet, the kittens cuddled with Officer Adkins, staying close to him.
Unending Cuddles
The kittens kept cuddling him while he drove them to the vet.
At the vet, Adkins fed the hungry kittens with a bottle, and he learned that they were only 6 weeks old. He, at once, knew he wanted to keep them.
He knew he was not going to give them away. They snuggled up to his face, and also, his heart.
A Home of Love
The vet said the kittens were healthy and fine, and he could take them home.
He had to name the kittens, so he chose Max and TJ.
Adkins got the idea from something else that happened that day. He also dealt with a shoplifting case at a store called T.J. Maxx.
If he did not have that case, he would not have seen the car with the kittens, apparently, it brought them together, and the kittens did not get in trouble – they just stole Adkins’ heart and ours.
Now, the kittens are safe and happy.
They snuggled their way into Officer Adkins’ heart and home.
